Humphrey Company, Ltd. (HCL) was established in 1951, by James Humphrey Sr. He began as a small residential and light commercial plumbing contractor in Houston, Texas. Today, led by James Humphrey Jr., HCL employs more than 300 union employees in and around the Houston area. As a well-regarded contractor in the industry, HCL is known as an expert in mechanical contracting.
